Graduate Program in Education and Territoriality

The program contemplates studies whose objective is the analysis of public policies articulated with the challenges of processes arising from territorial occupation and seeks to train researchers theoretically and methodologically in the dynamics of territorial development, in its multiple dimensions: political, environmental, economic and social, formulating references for increasing management and autonomy on the part of its agents. The course is linked to the Intercultural Indigenous Faculty (FAIND) of the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD), and aims to train professionals capable of teaching at a higher education level and capable of doing research. The teaching modality is through alternation pedagogy, a pedagogical dynamic that establishes an integrated relationship between school/university time and community time (living space of the student), also establishing a dialectical relationship between theory and practice, popular knowledge and scientific learning.

The Program has two lines of Research:

(Line 1): Education and Diversity;

(Line 2): Territory and Sustainability, both lines of research are in the concentration area on Development and Public Policies.
