Management


Description of the Course:
Managers are the professionals who manage organizations such as companies, industries, public departments, among others. Their main function is to make decisions and solve problems related to organizational management. These professionals must recognize and define such problems, find solutions, think strategically, introduce changes in the production process, act preventively, transfer and generalize knowledge and make decisions of different levels of complexity. Managers have a broad field of action and they can work in all organizations and serve in several positions (such as director, manager and supervisor). They can also work in various areas, such as: managing public and private organizations, as well as organizations of the third sector, marketing, managing human resources, financial and budget matters, information systems,  production, materials, logistics, foreign trade, working with management organization, systems and methods, business planning, quality management, cooperative management, hospital, tourism, agribusiness management and also management of micro, small and medium-size businesses.
