The science that studies the subjects and their properties has the modality of courses in bachelor’s and teaching degrees at UFGD. The graduate becomes a professional in Chemistry qualified to work in the productive sector and in research centers, in the branches of the chemical industry, food, fuel, pharmaceuticals, petrochemical products, quality control, technical inspection, among others, as well as in training of Chemistry or Science teachers, to work in high school and elementary education. It can also assume technical responsibility such as direction, supervision, programming, coordination, guidance and company consultancy. During the course, the student can carry out: scientific initiation work at the UFGD laboratories and in other institutions and/or research centers, internships in companies and public agencies, in addition to mobilitity to educational institutions abroad.
