The objective of the History student, in addition to investigating events, is to interpret them, rescuing the memory of humanity and expanding the understanding of the human condition. Research, therefore, is the central motto of the historian's work, who uses documents and field analyzes to construct facts and versions, working in public and private archives, culture houses and museums. If the student choose the teaching’s degree, the History professional can become a teacher in public and private schools.
